14 Things to do in Augusta this Weekend April 6-8


A Taste of the Master Chefs - Friday - Join chefs, celebrities and musical artists to raise awareness of hunger in America. 7 PM at West Lake Country Club. Tickets start at $175.

Augusta's Great American Clean Up - Friday, Saturday, Sunday - The Great American Clean Up is a nationwide event aimed at helping communities come together to create a cleaner living environment. Join others as they work to clean up their neighborhoods.

Augusta's Saturday Market - Saturday - Shop local food vendors in the heart of downtown Augusta. 8 AM - 2 PM on 8th Street.

Coffee and Cars - Saturday - Bring your car to show off or come and take a look around all the other cars and bikes. 9 AM - 12 PM at the parking lot of Dayspring Baptist Church. Free Event.

Dog Days Family Event - Saturday - Bring your 4-legged friends for a family day at Cabelas. Photos, gift bags, demos of dog training and health and wellness. Dog trick contest and pet adoption booth. 12 - 3 PM. Free event.

First Friday Drop-In Wine Tasting - Friday - Stop in to Wine World in North Augusta anytime between 5 and 8 PM to taste 3 whites and 3 reds. Tickets are $5.

Kid's Night Out - Friday - Drop your kids off for a night of fun while you enjoy a night out. Kids ages 2 - 12 can be dropped off at the Kroc Center from 6 - 10 PM for dinner, inflatables, gym play and swimming for older children. Cost is $20.

Level Up's Fortnite Challenge - Friday, Saturday - Try your hand a winning a game of Fortnite. All night pass from 8 PM to 8 AM. Prizes will be awarded. Cost is $20-$25.

Meet a Master Gardener - Saturday - Meet Master Gardeners at the Aiken County Farmers Market from 8 AM - 12 PM. They will be on hand to answer all your lawn and garden questions. Free Event.

Move Night - Saturday - Chick-fil-A Aiken will be setting up a projector in the Goodyear parking lot for a free movie night. 7:30 PM, bring your own chair and snacks. Free Event, food available for purchase.

Southern Moon Outfitters - Saturday - Check out the Kayaks at Southern Moon Outfitters with reps to answer all your questions. At 1 PM they will head to the water for a chance to demo the kayaks on the water. 10 AM - 6 PM. Free Event.

Spring Break Movie in Aiken - Friday - Bring your kids for a free screening of Spider-Man: Homecoming at 3:30 PM at the Aiken County Public Library. Free Event.

Spring Break Movie Week - Friday - Bring your own refreshment and keeps the kids entertained with a free movie showing at Nancy Carson Library in North Augusta. They will be showing That Darn Cat at 10:30 AM and 4 PM. Free Event.

Upcycled - Art Re-Imagined - Saturday - A night of art and jazz, live music while you explore the gallery of Art & Soul of Aiken's 45 artists. 7 - 9 PM. Free Event.
